Not just for grilling — also perfect for roasts, candymaking and deep-frying. For grilling or roasting, simply choose the type of meat or poultry and the doneness desired. Place thermometer probe in the cut of meat, then close the oven door or grill cable directly over the thermometer cable.
There are six pre-programmedmeat/poultry choices, and various doneness temperatures. These temperatures are based on USDA safe cooking temperatures. The TASTE mode will not allow the user to undercook when it is not safe to do so. The “dual progress” display shows both taste and the temperature while you’re cooking.
